What are some projects for Kindergarten kids?
We seem to fall back on projects that we have always done. We need new ideas for the kiddos without a lot of money being spent. It would be really neat if we could get them on the DIY learning curve!

Various colors of nail polish dropped on water. Use a comb to mix and spread the colors then place paper onto the surface and lift off, set out to dry.
Shaving cream with drops of guache (opaque water color) or watercolor paints and paper placed on the surface and removed. Can be marbled prior to placing paper.
If the kids see animals or faces in the spots have them elaborate on the spots so they are drawing on the dry colors.
Cut boards to 5x7" or pick up old frame at the thrift store. Have the kids use dominoes to make a painting. In other words reconfiguring the pieces into some kind of image that is pretty or interesting in some way. Provide little tabs in the back for hanging.
If near a beach pick up some small pieces of driftwood and have the kids lightly glue on small tillandsia plants. (air plants) If no beach use interesting pieces of rocks. Remember to mist them though.
Have kids collect small items from the garden and make a little collage on board.
