Is it possible to DIY re-hone the honed marble on the bathroom floor?

The honed marble floor in our master bath has water spots and some sort of surface damage whose cause is unknown (possibly the wrong chemical used by the house cleaners). The chemical damage is not worth replacing with another tile since it is just under the toekick.

U can redo the Marble by sanding down and buying the kit that RUSTOLEUM makes just make sure u mix right
Yes, you can sand marble to get a honed finish again... Then the marble needs to be resealed. HERE IS A POST I wrote about a simple marble restoration project I did. On your bathroom floor, after you've sanded it, you would probably use the same sealer the floor had on it originally.
