How to trim crepe myrtles?
Most importantly, when should you cut back a crepe myrtle? It got neglected after Hurricane Harvey and grew much taller then I wanted. So, how low can you cut it and when?

Hi Ann, a good rule of thumb is that most plants can safely be cut back in really early spring or late fall.
Ann, once they are done blooming...for sure cut damaged branches or dead ones at any time...JMO
