Natural Weed Killer
Hi Niki,
I use straight white vinegar with a few drops of Dawn mixed in. The Dawn helps it stick to the plant. This method will take a few days to completely work and you want to do it during a dry period.
You can also add salt to the mix if the weeds are on a driveway or sidewalk. The salt will help kill it faster, but it also ruins the ground for plants for a long time, so don't use it in a garden.
Another option is to use boiling water and pour it on the weeds. This will kill them immediately. Just be sure to not pour it on plants that you want to keep. I hope this helps you.
This is not an exact science – approximate measures are totally fine 1 gallon white vinegar and cup Epsom salts and ¼ cup liquid dish soap Combine ingredients in spray bottle and treat weeds at the hottest time of day for best results.
Hi Niki - This is the most effective all-natural weed killer DIY that we use. It's even been featured on Hometalk! Hope this helps! Hugs, Holly
