What to do around our gas stove?
We have recently hung our tv on the wall, painted the wall dark gray, and put in a gas stove, my question is what to do on the sides of the tv and stove? The tv isn’t centered on the wall, so there is more empty wall to the corner, what do I do about that?

You have lots of options! You could do a gallery wall including the TV as part of the gallery. You could add a book case tot he left of the TV and put all of your components in there. Then on the right side I see three picture frames or some kind of art lined up in a vertical line. I like this set up though. With it not being centered it helps with where you placed the sofa and is visually appealing.
Penny: a black bookcase around this would give it all a wonderful built-in look! Or, if that is beyond budget or skill, photos/art in BLACK frames would look terrific!
Penny...I would add a piece of furniture there...bookcase, etc.

it seems you have two focal points. . . the t.v. and the gas stove. The gas stove presumably is piped in is that correct? It looks to me as if the t.v. is too high. Could you put it in a cabinet facing the sofa or on the wall across from the sofa? It is nice that you posted so many pictures. Although you haven't asked, it seems the stand in the corner is too small for that area. When neither the t.v. or the fireplace are on, what you have are two black holes. it would be good to minimize that presentation.
Nothing wrong with an asymmetrical layout, I've always chosen this as it adds interest to the room. I would pull out the area rug to line up closer to that doorway, then place the ottoman lined up with the stove/tv. Then place the sofa out further from the wall and maybe put a sofa table behind it.
