I did the same thing Karen. The only thing that worked for me was fresh air and lots of it. It took a while too. The smell can make you sick too... Once it disapates try some baking soda? Let it sit then vacuum? I had to air mine out. Won't do that again!
Charcoal and newspaper are great odor absorbers. I use these:

Future hint for mice, cotton balls soaked with peppermint oil works and smells so much better. I have used this spray with great success:

Have you tried charcoal? It absorbs odors so it's worth a try. Another idea is using some coffee grounds. I've heard it absorbs as well plus the smell is so yummy!
Charcoal, newspaper, box of baking soda. When you get a chance, sprinkle a box of baking soda on the floor, carpet and on the seats if fabric. Let sit over night. Then vacuum up.
Put an open container of ground coffee in your car. Any odor will soon be gone. I did this to get the cigarette odor out of a used car. We went on vacation and the spare refrigerator in the garage quit working while we were gone. The smell of food gone bad was awful! After cleaning out the mess, I put an open can of coffee in the fridge and closed it. It only took a few days to get rid of the odor.
