Spring Into Summer With SK

SK on Elderberry
by SK on Elderberry
I was bored...So I needed to create a simple, fast project.
I had the old grapevine wreath from another project. I stripped it and gave it a good cleaning. I scoured the yard for random twigs and glued them onto the old wreath.
As a floral designer, I know the basics of color, design and balance. It's not hard lessons. I am putting together a simple floral design basics in the near future. I will post it as soon as I am happy with it.

I place my flowers before I start glueing them. This makes it easy to re-arrange as needed.
I am using a professional glue gun. This glue gun is much hotter and takes longer to tack.

I used simple gerber daisies as my base color. These colors make it easy to change for any season.
I did not glue the berries, eggs, berries or ribbon. This makes it a simple task to change with the seasons.
When the seasons change I take out the eggs, ribbon and berries and will replace the ribbon with a fall color and add fall leaves.

It's fun to have a multi season wreath.

Thanks for visiting. sk
