I think this is the #1 garden question on Hometalk. Any diy recipe to kill weeds usually contains vinegar, which can be toxic and not good for the soil. I've been gardening for a long time and have tried many different home remedies. I hate to disappoint but the best way to get rid of weeds is to hand pull them and mulch. I know it's a pain, but if you keep at it and stay on top of the weeds they will become less and less. Good luck!
