Basement light covers???
Hi! What can I use to cover the lights in our basement where lots of light still shows through? The plastic stuff that was there just busts when I tried inserting it 😞 thanks!

Don't try to insert it. Build a frame much like a picture frame, put the plastic inside of it instead of glass and screw the frame to the joists. You can also have plexiglass cut at most big box stores to the size you need and build a frame the same way to hold the plexiglass up.
It would be cheaper to just replace the fixtures.
My chiropractor has small rice paper screens hanging from them. Diffuses the light and is esthetically pleasing
We had a light like this in our old kitchen and the standard plastic (2'x4') didn't go into the frame easily. It will be easier if you can make the opening a little bigger of trim the plastic a little shorter.
Thanks!!!
