Where are the doors? Could you give us some more info. please?
I have one of these type doors and I painted it with a gloss white enamel paint. It was amazing how much better it looked.
I've seen where people removed the louvers and replaced with metal panels, mirrors, chicken wire, cloth, tin panels, and shiplap.
Maybe one of these ideas will appeal to you.
You can always clean them and spray paint them.
Had these on laundry cabinet doors...painted red. Light sand, spray painted the louvers gloss white, then painted the frames charcoal. Painted cabinets. Replaced the hardware. Sweet upgrade.
It is easy enough, and looks good if you carefully cut out the louvres, Maybe leave enough at the edges to hold a frame for frosted glass.
