How to remove resin from canvas?
After completing one of my canvas projects, I realized that there was a small line of resin that had ran down the canvas. Any suggestions on how I might remove the line of resin on the canvas?

Hand sanitizer will remove tree sap from almost anything, including the paint on your car. Just be sure you try it on a small, unnoticeable area of the surface before you go to town on whatever it is you're cleaning. Isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) is the chemical ingredient that breaks down and removes the resin.

Hi Crafty Girl. My name is Cindy. I read a couple posts to find out how to remove resin. They each had a couple solutions but they all were consistent saying to use rubbing alcohol. Hope this helps you. Good luck from Cindy.
Thanks everyone for your responses and suggestions. The product I used was "Top Coat". My project is complete but has a slight resin line (probably not noticeable by other) that I was hoping to be able to remove. I will try alcohol since it will probably just dry if it doesn't take the resin off. I really don't want to ruin the 48 x 36 canvas for a small resin line.
