I've tried all kinds of chemicals but nothings seems to work 100%. Old glue when they install the laminated floors that doesn't want to come of.

I suppose youve tried goo gone? Mineral spirits?

    Hi Jacoba,

Perhaps you could try a hot air gun and scraper? Or even a hot hair dryer with a scraper? Try an inconspicuous spot first to make sure heat doesn't end up lifting any of the laminate. Goo Gone is great, like Kelli L suggested.

    Good luck!

There is another product stronger than good gone and it escapes me but it’s I think goof off. It’s smelly but works like magic.

I don’t like chemicals but sometimes it’s necessary.

We avoid chemicals in the home when possible . I might try putting ice cubes in a ziplock style bag , seal the bag. Place a very thin cotton cloth or foil or both on the glue spot .Avoiding any liquids coming directly in touch with the flooring . Then simply place the sealed ziplock style bag on the cloth or foil it should freeze the glue. Once the glue is frozen scrape off with a wooden spatula.
