Hi Joanna,
How big is your deck and what does it look like?
What do you have in mind, decorations,
furniture, paint, lighting?
How big is your deck? Purchase quality pieces over time as budget allows. You don't want to spend money time and again on the same thing because you went cheap. Shop yard sales and second hand shops and upcycled pieces. If you are on nextdoor.com, it's a great way to pick up furniture, pots and decor for free or very inexpensively. Mine has a steady stream if free or low cost items. People move, upgrade and want to be rid of their old stuff. I renovated my ex hubby's patio for less than $200 by picking up random pieces and painting them. Looks beautiful, and being in southern ca we use our space year round.
Add some twinkle lights. Start checking out thrift stores, fb marketplace, and yard sales for decor and furniture. You can paint the furniture so that it goes together even if they don't "match".
Hi Joanna - These are two articles that show how we took our small and sad deck and turned it into a gorgeous entertainment space. Hope they help with some inspiration! Hugs, Holly
