How do I change the color of these chairs?

I have 6 of these which are covered in leatherette. I want to change the colour to Grey but dont think i can just make up a cover due to curve on chair.
Why not paint them? There are several projects on here about painting fabric.
Rustolieum Plasticoat for hard plastics. Orrrrrr apply some stencil work to it. With a clear coat.
Chalk paint may work.

I have watched some ,painting on this type of surface, but wonder if it will crack and peel then they would be ruined.
Wish I knew companies that supplied replacement chair only but my search has been negative.
you can make a cover but it is not the curve that is the problem but the metal attachment on the front of the seat.
