How can I use the neat, round "glory"tomato" containers for 8yr old boy to build a moving toy car or robot that moves around as he operates it?
Hi Snowdrop,
I'm Linda and I've been searching off and on all day to try to find something like what you want. Unfortunately, I didn't fine anything specifically using that container. I finally changed my search terms to round container. That brought up a few ideas. I'm not sure though that these are what you have in mind. Take a look and see what you think.

I'm sorry I couldn't help you more and I think the members of the Helper team feel the same way. It seems that no one was able to find an idea for you. :( Maybe you could cut the containers down to make them wheels and perhaps glue together 2 of them to make a car body. For a robot, you might be able to stack them and use something like paper towel rolls for arms & legs. I hope you'll see something that sparks your imagination. Wishing you the best.
