How do I take care of my mums?
I purchased a hugh mum about 2 months ago in a hanging pot. After about 3 weeks it started to brown. I had not planted it in the ground. Now its mostly dead looking and its outside. Should I just trash it and start again next year?

Mum’s only flower once so after they bloom, plant it outside. It is a Perrenial so as long as the roots have time to spread, your mum should return next year.
That seems to be the fate of potted mums these days. If you intended to plant it just go ahead and see if it comes up next year.
Thank you very much! These really helped.
