How do I paper or even paint a "pre-papered" wall in a modular home?
I own a modular home, the bathroom is huge I would like to paint it but is has a sort of paper already on it. So sick of it what do I do? Thank you...In desperate need for a change Bonnie Parker Wheatland Wy.

Bonnie, I know you will have to get any loose paper off before you paint or paper the walls. Look through these videos I'm sending you and see if they give you the wanted answers.

If you paint, you'll need to decide if you'll remove the battens between the panels. If you do, you'll need to caulk the seams. Make sure the walls are clean and use a good primer-paint combination to cover the vinyl walls.
My daughter has a modular home. Those are panels with a vinyl type wallpaper over it. Seams are covered with wood, metal, or plastic strips to hide the seams. What I did to hers is remove the strips, filled with no shrink drywall patching compound. Put just enough to fill the seams. Next day went over the seams with a damp sponge to smooth them out. Primed the walls with Kilz primer then painted with wall paint. You can paint without removing the seam strips, but smooth walls look more like a home than a modular/trailer.
I never thought of that Kathy, thanks for the heads up!
Painting it would be wonderful William, Kiltz primer huh? could I use joint compound in the cracks instead, since I plan on painting? thanks!
