Inside, outside, wrapping ideas?
Don't forget Thrift stores as a source of decorations at prices lower than retail or brand new. Even if items such as wreaths are a little tired looking, they can easily be 'spruced up' with additional ribbons, ornaments, and wire.
Decorating for Christmas really depends on what you already have and what "strikes your fancy." If you are on a tight budget, hit the dollar store as suggested by flipturn. Wide red ribbon tied into bows and lots of silver or gold garland does wonders when draped over bookcases or wall frames and hung on your front door. If you don't have tree ornaments, look around your house for anything that you can tie a string or ribbon to. You might be surprised at how good measuring spoons and children's toys can look on a tree or in a small tabletop scene. Pine cones, painted or plain, and evergreen branches (with or without ribbons) also give that seasonal vibe. Just make sure that anything that you bring into the house from outside has had any tenants evicted (i.e., get rid of any bugs). Candles in safe locations (avoid this if you have small children) add a great atmosphere, as do strings of small lights. There are no rules.
Hello. You can decorate for Christmas by putting up a Christmas tree. Decorate the tree with ornaments and lights. You can also put a wreath on your front door. Outside lights look nice too. Christmas colors are usually red and green. You can purchase everything you need at Wal Mart or on line. Good luck and Merry Christmas.
