Are they stacked? Maybe a ceiling mounted roll-up blind or a roman shade to camoflauge them? If you can use magnets on them, you could cover them in anything and use the magnets to hold in place. If they are in a cubby or nook of their own, maybe a pocket door or sliding barn door could hide them when not in use?
Paint them with camouflage paint and no one will ever see them. Actually without seeing a photo, I guess you could put up a screen or drape.
