Sandi, There are kits you can purchase at Home Depot or Lowe's, that can change the floor to any color, even with sparkles. Call the paint department, they should have them. Aloha!
These guys will show you how. I would recommend using a stain. I stained my front porch about 12 years ago. Areas where it's walked on all the time has worn off, but it stayed so pretty for many years.

There are lots of different paints and techniques. Look at you tube for ideas and suggestions on how to. What look are you going for? What's the end use of room? Is the concrete cured totally? Does it get wet? Good luck reaearching.
Hi Sandi! Use a paint or stain intended for concrete. Make sure it is thoroughly clean first.
You clean you concrete first with 30seconds use a cerment brush cleaner let it dry then you start
