Fleabuster they are a company look them up. You will not see another flea.

  • Diamaceous earth is a good product to help get rid of pests. You need to make sure you are treating your pets with flea medication. Removing all my carpets is the only thing that finally got rid of them for good

Bravecto from your vet. Put it on just one animal and it will kill all the fleas in the house and on all other pets. I do not work for the company, just suffered with fleas using something else until my new vet gave my cat this stuff.

You mention "no outside" pets. Does that mean you have cats or birds? This is a shout out to every pet owner! Be prepared if you pet needs to spend a day or night at the vets. They cage the pets and there are usually fleas at EVERY vets offices. Fleas JUMP. Those buggers can jump onto anything and everything, including PEOPLE. Hubby & I trained Irish Setters for bird hunting, and also in Obedience Training. (hubby was one of the teachers at our cities dog training facility) I never had a problem with dogs and fleas, until I started to "foster" dogs for Animal Allies. I picked up a beautiful retriever to foster and she had fleas, and that's when I found out I was allergic to fleas! Needless to say, I spent a lot of time researching fleas because all 3 of our setters came down with them, & I was suffering a lot. I used Head & Shoulders to wash the dogs with every day, and we had 2 Dutch Oven type of pots in each of the living & dining rooms + the kitchen, filled with water. The rest of the rooms were kept closed. Why water? Fleas JUMP, and when then land in the water, they drown. Our dogs are in the house unless they are with us hunting, or doing our farm chores, but during this problem We kept our dogs in the kennels during the day, and before they came into the house they were washed. Oh yeah, and before they came into the house, I vacuumed every room and changed the water in the 7 to 8 pots of water. Within 3 weeks, the house and dogs were clear of fleas, and I got my sanity back. When you bring your pets to the vet, get them out as soon as possible. If the vets office is on the dirty side, get a new vet, including the vets with run down offices. We now go to a very expensive vet, but we have never had a flea problem again in almost 20 years. His offices are spotless, and always up todate. And the reason he's expensive is because everyone wants him as a vet, so he basically works 24/7. And ya know the old saying... sometimes old fixes are the best. Waters, cheap. Try it

Just want to "second" diatomaceous earth for any unwanted insects. Must be careful it's not accessible to good guys like bees but safe for people and animals and inexpensive to boot which is good since you need repeated applications of most products due to insects eggs etc.

One flea can lay 100's of eggs in her lifetime. The eggs are so tiny and shaped like a chicken egg so they roll into cracks, crevices and in carpet pile. You need to ask the vet for an effective spray that will keep the fleas from being able to reproduce. The store bought ones are a waste of money. You need one that leaves a residual effect on the fleas. They can last for a very long time without a meal. Go the professional spray route. If it is really bad, go for the bomb where you have to leave the house and take pets out with you.
