How to get my amaryllis to blossom?
Last years plant was outside all summer, brought it inside and watered it and the leaves are growing but I don't know if it will flower, maybe I should repot it? If so, information on how to plant amaryllis bulbs in pots would be appreciated.

Time, time, time. To get a second blooming from an amaryllis, the bulb needs to go through a cold spell, then gradual warming. If you don’t live in the tropics, it takes longer for a new flower to grow, and some plants even skip a year. Good luck. ☺️
Hi Sally, After the flowers have faded, cut the flower stalk to within 1" of the top of the bulb. Continue to water and feed the plant regularly with a liquid houseplant fertilizer.Amaryllis will grow a number of leaves during the spring and summer. This will help the plant produce energy for the following year's bloom.
Hi Sally, cut the leaves and the flower stalk, if you have any to about 2.5 cm (1") from the top of the bulb. Water and feed the bulb after cutting and it should be fine and produce new leaves and flowers.
