How can I repair a resin statue that a hail storm punctured? These cute things are just too fragile, but I enjoy them.

Are they hollow? Can you send a picture?

Yes, the figures are hollow - I have found some at Walmart, some at Menard's, etc. Sometimes I've been able to repair smaller dings just with E-6000 glue.

  • Construction adhesive might work. I fixed a friends resin gnome as we had nothing to lose. It worked for our application.

If they are fragile why don't you either bring them inside or next to your house where the eaves will offer some protection? They might look cute under a canopy or overhang perhaps some outdoor seating.

Bondo, auto body repair kit, can repair the damage. Sand smooth and paint.

I did wonder about Bondo but there are so many kinds that it confuses me. You suggest the auto body repair kind - I'll try that. Thank you,

I am satisfied with the information shared above, but how do I mark my inquiry as completed?
