I would find a piece of fabric in the color of wood you desire and sew it on to the legs. No one would be the wiser if you didn't tell them!
If the entire chair is fabric then the legs were covered separately. You should be able to cut the fabric from the upholstery above to expose the wooden legs beneath it. If is one section of fabric from the front of the chair to the bottom of the legs, use a razor knife to remove the fabric covering the legs. Use a strong glue to tuck a tiny portion (1/4" )of the fabric under from the line you cut and glue to the chair itself so it will not unravel. The legs underneath should be wood and you can stain them to your liking.
