How do I reseal my claw foot tub?
It seems that my cleaner that I’ve been using on my tub is too abrasive and took off the sealant on part of it... and I feel like you can feel the Fiberglass or what ever it is on your skin when taking a bath because it’s no longer smooth or shiny. Once I do get it resealed any advice on what cleaners to use?

I bought it in Aike, SC. It was in an old farmhouse.
any spray foam tub and tile cleaner with soft sponge...no scratch pad on other side.
If it's an old claw foot tub it cast iron with enamel over it. You can't reseal it if it's worn out. People have them painted but it's only temporary . I'm not sure about a fiberglass tub.
Wet & Forget Shower is a no scrub cleaner that you spray on once a week. Let sit for 24 hours then rinse away.

Had my tub sanded and repainted, was like new. usually lasts around 8-10 years for me. $300. is better than trying to replace tub which might not even fit thru the door.
