How do I make flower pots with concrete and fabric?
At least a year ago, I saw a project where someone took a flower pot, turned it upside down, then took some fabric, dipped it in concrete, then laid over the pot. When dry you had a concrete flower pot. Can't find the post here on Hometalk or on Pintress. Has anyone else seen it or can give me the link please? Thanks

Hi TnKaren. I'm Cindy. Yes, I saw that post. Turn a large bucket, bowl or pot upside down. Cover it with plastic wrap. Next, make a batch of concrete according to the directions on the bag. Soak a towel in the concrete. Be sure to get concrete on the entire towel. Every square inch. Lay the towel on top of the plastic wrap. You don't have to use a towel, any fabric will do. Wait at least 1 or 2 days to dry. Now, let's talk drainage. You can pre-cut holes in the towel and insert a straw in the holes. Another choice is to drill holes in the new pot once it is cured. Good luck TnKaren and Happy Holidays.
Hello, here is another Home Talk concrete planter project, an alternate to the idea you’re posting about. This pot intrigues me.
