How can I keep squirrels from getting all the pecans in our tree?
We got only a handful of pecans before the squirrels got the rest or took bites and left them.

As long as you do not have a other trees or a fence that they can jump from, you can add a metal collar around the tree. Just place it high enough from the ground. Squirrels can jump pretty high.

Hi Caroline! Oh they seem to be able to get anywhere! We have a couple right now that are driving my husband crazy! We use a baffle and have removed all branches etc. that they could climb from and jump onto.... Take a look at these articles and see if they help you. Have a great holiday season!

Either shoot them, if you're allowed, or trap them and move them to the country. I've been thinking about those fly-paper deals. Connect the end of one of them to the tree and just let the other loose. Of course, when they get all wrapped up in the paper, you'll have another problem on your hands! Squirrels are a tribulation!
