How do I start new plants from a very old rhody bush?

I have a very old and well established rhododendron. I would like to know how to start some new plants from the cuttings. Is a bright red and white blossom with ruffled edges. Don't know if I take cuttings now or after it blooms.

Doesn't matter. Get some rooting hormone and place in a pot with fresh potting mix. There are other methods:
