How do I keep skunks out of my garden?

Skunks have been digging up my vegetable garden, and I don’t know how to keep them out. Any ideas/suggestions?

Skunks dislike the smell of citrus fruit. Put some orange peels or lemon peels around your garden. Moth balls also will deter them.
I use moth balls just replace after it rains I get them at the dollar store
Be careful , moth balls are poisonous to pets and small animals.
Fencing them out is about the best way to keep them away.
"Rid-Away".
Horse urine based spray.
Better yet, and way more economical - ask your local farmer to collect some of the urine for you or ... if you do not have a farmer, simply ask your police department to collect some from their patrol horses.
