The over the door hangers should work, and you can find them in all price ranges and sizes to fit your budget and space.
Can you use a Command hook? If it's a screen, try putting the hook on the back of the door upside down so you can put the wreath on a ribbon and hang it over the top of the door to the hook.
You could use fishing line and hang it from the frame around the screening to put it at the level where you want it to hang.
Harriette...You can pull a ribbon through the wreath making it as long as you need. Put the ends of the ribbon together at the top of the door and use a strong duck tape to hold it. You won't be able to see the top of the door or that ribbon is held together the tape.
