Learn to quilt. Make fabric pictures. Make vase covers for holidays. Make placemats. Stitch them together in strips and make scatter rugs. Donate them to a thrift store....
Here's a fun idea to use scrap fabric for a wreath, and it can be done for any season: https://www.hometalk.com/diy/craft/wreaths/scrap-fabric-christmas-wreath-11486937
Scrap Fabric Christmas Wreath
Anotheridea is to make a rag rug. Either tear or cut the strips, sew end to end, and crocket in a circle.

You can also use them to make pot holders
Check out Missouri star quilt company for jelly roll pillow cases. I use flannel remnants for diapers & send them to 3rd world countries moms. Check out a garland swag. You can make one for every holiday or to match your decor for a unique valance. I love scrapes!
First thing comes to mind is quilt. Quilts do not have to have a design; some call them crazy quilts. Pot holders are just mini quilts. Can also be used as hot pad for table. Sew several together for grocery bags. Cut to smaller sizes they can be soaked in a mix of water and softner will give you reusable dryer sheets. Bibs, napkins, window wipes for the car. Check allfreesewing.com for ornament projects and other ideas.
Go on youtube, so many things; bowl cozy, bowl covers, coasters, table runners, napkins, tablecloths (make squares then sew togather), throw pillows, or send the fabric scraps to me (tee hee)...
You can use smaller scraps to make sachets to fill with cedar shavings (for the closet) or lavender (for dresser drawers). And speaking of quilts, crazy quilts are a wonderful way to use up your scraps and you don't have to make a full quilt: table runner, toaster cover, tea cozy, pillow shams, the possibilities are endless!
