Sherry,. Put ice cubes half the size they usually are. Put them in the disposal with a disinfect, and turn it on. Follow with baking soda and vinegar. Put the baking soda over the drain, and follow with the vinegar. It will fizz, then rinse with hot water. Loh!
I use lemon or orange peels. Simply quarter what's left of a lemon after you've used one, and place it in the disposal. Grind it up well, and it should deodorize your disposal.
All of the above, plus don't forget to scrub the rubber flap over the drain. The back of it can get covered with gunk. My daughter recently had this problem. We did all of the above, but smell was still there. Then we discovered the junk on the back of the flap. Now it is all clean and fresh!
Just pour about a cup of white vinegar OR a 1/2 cup of baking soda down the disposal before bedtime. Let it set not adding any water over night. Next morning add a cup of water and let set a few minutes then run the cold water while turning on the disposal.
If some grease/oil goes down the drain dump some ice in the drain and run with cool water first., then do the vinegar,soda and let sit a few before flushing with cool water.
Every time I clean my mirrors, they end up having tons of streaks and almost look worse than before I started. What could I use to clean them that won't leave streaks...

I first use a spoon to get the gunk off the back of the flapper. It's gross how much sticks there!
Then, I use the baking soda and vinegar, followed by a hot water flush with the disposal on.
Finally, throw in some ice cubes and citrus fruit peel for a totally clean, fresh disposal! 😎
