Lightly sand the table so the paint sticks then paint

Hi there, using chalk paint is pretty easy. I use Annie Sloan but you can use any kind you want. Make sure your piece is cleaned really well. You can either put on one color and a color over it once it is dry and then sand lightly to let some of the bottom color come through. You can also put 2 coats on if you are not distressing it. Chalk paint lacks a sealer that most paint has and, therefore, requires a wax to seal the color and keep water or other debris from getting in the finish. The last thing is to have fun with it.
