WD40 wait a few minutes and wash with soap and water.
Goo gone
I usually just toss the item into a sink full of hot, soapy water, let it soak, and the sticky residue comes right off with very little effort. I've heard vinegar and lemon juice also work well!
Try these few things- goo gone, or lemon juice, or blue Dawn dish soap (my mother swears this works on everything, lol), soaking in warm water and then scrubbing off. Repeat as necessary till it's gone.
Goo Gone is "THE" ticket for sure ...hands down !!!!
I use peanut butter! It really works! https://www.exquisitelyunremarkable.com/2021/03/remove-sticker-residue-naturally.html
