How can old plastic wall tile (bathroom) be covered?
Our small bathroom (no shower or tub, so no condensation) has 1960's plastic tile on the bottom half of all four walls. It's intact, but ugly. We can't take it off right now, but can the appearance be somehow improved? Thanks.

Hello Sharon! You can paint plastic wall tile. Here is a bit of information: https://www.hunker.com/13413162/how-to-paint-plastic-wall-tile
You can paint the tiles. Clean them then prime using something like Kilz and then paint. I did this in our powder room and the paint holds up well.
It really would chip off easily. But, clean good and wipe off with denatured alcohol and paint with oil based paint. Don't sand or scuff it up, scratches will show.
Hello Sharon,
Yes it can, by using stick on tile covers - they come in plain colours, patterns, Mirror and metallic's..........
