How can I reroot Lilies/Roses?

I wanted to know if I can take these flowers from my gift basket sent to me and possibly try and re root them. I have take cuttings from flowers in the past and put them in water with some boost ie Miracle grow and waited until they grew roots and then planted them. CAN this be done with these flowers. They are from arrangements for my birthday, not exact cuttings from a live bush.

  You can certainly try! I have been successful several times. Get some rooting hormone, it will give you a better shot at success.
