How to reach two small openings in bottom of toilet to clean?
Our toilet has two small openings at the bottom of the bowl that I cannot reach with either small toilet brush, pumice stick, old toothbrush, etc. I have tried vinegar soaking, vinegar and baking soda, alka seltzer, borax and vinegar and no luck cleaning inside these openings which are small and at a difficult angle to reach. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Ann, could you describe, are the holes at the bottom of bowl on the inside or outside?
Have you tried pouring bleach and letting it sit for an hour or so.
Have you true flexible small bottle brush. Is use Soft Scrub.
Shut off the water. Drain the water from the bowl. Clean. Turn water back on.
Do as Naomi suggested and drain the bowl. Apply Lysol toilet bowl cleaner (blue, not the gel) and let it stay awhile. Use whatever brush you have to scrub the openings, wetting with some water to help with activation. Cut your water back on and flush to finish. Wear gloves, the toilet cleaner can burn your skin. This is the only cleaner I've found to get out old mineral stain build-up. Good luck!
Thank you, trying this next.
