How do I create a table extension for a 60” oval glass table?

I have a 60” oval glass table and I would like to create an extension in order to seat more people.

The only thing you can do is lay a larger rectangle ( wood) and cover it with a table cloth. BTW this is a temporary fix ..... for parties unexpected guests etc.....
I thought of this but am concerned that it would too heavy for me to carry...even thought of hinging it in the middle but once again concerned about the weight.
I would like something that could possibly stand on its own with legs
