Make your own, get cute cards from dollar store, maybe he likes Superhero’s? Cut out the figures glue a 🗯 comment balloon write the sentiment, then add a dowel, or popsicle stick to the back. Or have Spider-Man hang from a balloon with a fun saying on the balloon .
Send him comic strips from the funny papers, jokes (the cornier the better), fortunes from fortune cookies (plus the cookies!), silly song lyrics....the sky's the limit and much more fun!
I would send him dollar store (ours are 50 cents at Dollar Tree) card every week, make your own on the comuter also works.
Make your own cards from stuff out of any dollar store. I make mine flat on foam core poster board cut down to 4 x 6 or 8 x 10 size. Stickers, colored pens and pencils, etc. Use ribbon glued to the edges. Just doodle away! Them glue a loop on the back to hang up. Buy an adult coloring book and make a card out of one of the pages. Include comic strips, buy puzzle and game books at the dollar store too. If his parents take him out for doctor appointments, include a $5 gift card to an ice cream shop, donut shop, fast food place, etc. As a treat on the way home from the doctor. Stuff in a padded envelope (from the dollar store) and mail off.
