How can I naturally deter dogs from my lawn?
Spring is coming. Unfortunately my neighbors enjoy walking their dogs on my lawn. It seems they do not want to walk their dogs on their own lawns due to the unsightly brown spots of dead grass that are created. Does anyone know of a natural and dog-safe deterrent I can spray on the lawn. Prior to a recent snow, I've tried using deleted cayenne pepper, warm water and soap, but it does not seem to work. I feel uneasy talking directly to them about this.

Put up some small signs asking that pets be kept off the grass and see if they get the hint that way. If you are wanting to use hot stuff to deter, I would suggest using it full strength and it would need to be renewed very frequently.
Try irish spring soap grate it up small and cover your lawn with it. it smells bad to are 4 legged friends big and small.
Dogs tend to avoid smell of peppermint oil, citrus oils, Ruta Graveolens. You can spray essential oils of these, mixed with some water, on your lawn. Growing a rue plant in the area affected will deter cats and dogs.
Thank you for the direction Olivia
