How do I create a compact portable toy storage unit?
I live in a small Condo and I have 2 grand daughters ages 3 & 5. They like to play with a foldable doll house I have and lots of kitchen things & a few baby dolls. I would love to have a unit that I could push out into the livingroom when they are here and stow in the guest room when they are not. At this point we carry everything back & forth and it stays in a pile until the next time.

You could build a wood box out of plywood, decorate, paint, stain, whatever you want and put good castors on it, perhaps with locks on a couple of them so it stays in place. You could connect a couple of milk crates, it all depends on how large you need it, just put castors on the bottom. You could even go as far as putting a cover over it, just put hinges on one side. It doesn't have to be real fancy since it will be abused for years to come with all the toys that will come and go as they get older. You could make or purchase a small table and keep it over the top of the toy box and it won't take up more room.
You could always just put some caster wheels on a trunk and roll that back and forth!
Or, just purchase a rolling, oversized picnic cooler with a built in handle.
Hello there,
You could buy a blanket box with casters on or maybe the Large Clear Storage boxes they sell in large DIY stores , or maybe a trolley of some kind would do the trick?
