What should I do with this window?

I have a beautiful kitchen but I can’t decide what to do with my window. 8” around and 12” over. I want fresh herbs
Lynn...I have seen hanging shelves that many people use for their herbs. Maybe Google to see if you might find something that will work for that particular window.
A quick option would be a trio of small herb pots set right on the counter there. Or you could try something like this ...

You can attach glass shelves in front of window for small pots of herbs.
