Hi Melissa! A large plant between the two windows would be a nice addition, or a woven basket on the floor with rolled blankets inside (literally warmer!). A blanket ladder where you currently have the lamp and mirrors would also be a fun addition. Good luck!
Are you using this room as a craft room? I see plastic bins and a sewing machine. There is storage furniture that will look nice and hide all of that stuff. Putting it away will help. This company has some nice storage pieces and some of them should fit under the windows:

I would get rid of the lamp and all of the things on the wall. You could try painting the wall to add some warmth. Curtains on the windows and a nice picture between the windows could warm it up too.
I think a long skinny dresser, side table buffet or would look great under the tall window. You could use the drawers for storage so your stuff is out of sight. I would also add curtains to both window. Adding a lamp or lamps would also add warmth to the area. If you look at your local craigslist and garage sale sites, there are always people giving away free dressers, tables and what not.
I’d put a cheat of drawers on a left, with a plant between the window and some cute basket on the right.
Get. New mirror for on top of the mantle get cord covers for wires.the lamp and the table don’t look right there put a chair there
Hello,
