You could stencil it or paint it a fun color. You could add a pretty wreath to add some color.
I love the idea of stenciling it! Paint works wonders too!
These are cabinet doors that had to be flat because they open and slide into the sides. So I wanted them to still look upscale for my home. They are plastic ceiling tiles from Menards. You can cut them to size. Not cheap but it was a super easy fix. They would also cover those holes well. My first thought was textured wallpaper which I found at Menards as well but you’d have to fill those holes or it would puncture

You could add trim in rectangle shapes in the center of each door, paint the door a light taupe colour or eggshell and the trim in white.
Or paint the door in any colour you like or that goes with your decor and use stencils
Or add a mirror with trim around it
The door looks flat in the picture. A popular alternative to wallpaper is to use liquid starch as wallpaper glue and fabric as wallpaper. Easy to remove. Doesn’t harm the original finish and a simple job. For a mural type look you can use a fabric shower curtain with a screnic print or pattern of your choice.
Try some farmhouse sign stickers or print them out and modpodge them on.
Stencil it then repaint it.
