Every time I try to grow plants I purchase, the plants die. I guess I don't have a green thumb. But how do I repot the plants I get at the store?

Make sure you break the roots apart after removing from the pot, especially if they are root bound. Then plant in a larger pot that has potting soil, a little sand, and some fertilizer in it. And make sure there are drainage holes in the pot so the roots don't rot. Only water when the soil just gets dry and let excess water drain out of the holes. And make sure the plants get the right amount of sunlight - the care instructions should tell you this. Good luck!!!
Check with your local nursery for help. You may not be giving a wide enough hole and breaking up the root ball.
Every plant needs to be reported after bringing home from store or garden center or nursery. Use the correct soil and right size pot. Every plant has different needs. Here are some excellent guides.
