How do you safely remove a large mirror in a bathroom?
I have a large mirror that was installed in the bathroom when house was built. It appears to be attached to the wall. How can I safely remove it so that I can update the paint on the wall and hang a smaller, more attractive mirror to update the appearance of the bathroom

I would recommend you checking on YouTube to get information about your specific needs.
Are there small metal clips holding it in place? Is it glued to the wall? How it is attached will make it easy or hard. I recommend getting some large suction cups. If you have someone holding it so it doesn't slip on you, you will have an easier time removing it.
The metal clips that are common usually have the bottom that slides out to allow a little movement. It's a little like a picture in a frame. You secure to the top and slide the bottom in place. To remove, slide the bottom clips to allow the mirror to move. Someone should hold the mirror while you pull the mirror forward and away from the top clips.
Hi, Faye, You may want to apply large strips of masking tape to the mirror, before proceeding, in event of breakage. You may also need a glass cutter and havy duty gloves, eye protection, etc.
