Make sure it has something like flashing or you silicone caulk the heck out of it.
Also, the finish on marble does not hold up to typical bathroom cleaners.
I learned the hard way! It will also water spot irreparably after a couple of years, if not re-sealed every 6 months of use. Another problem I learned about.
