Woops- sorry guys - I thought it loaded up but it didn’t !
Interesting! The front part looks added on in an interesting sort of way! Not what i would call a townhouse but maybe the realtor was at a loss for words! And if other homes in the neighborhood have been remodeled/revitalized they might be calling all of them town homes as a way to draw interest to the area. It might be helpful to look at the other houses in the neighborhood that have not been remodeled. In older neighborhoods most of the homes were built in the same time period so you should get a good idea of what style you have under the front addition. The brick building to the right looks fairly original from what I can see. I just hope you are happy you bought this house, love living in it, that it's in a nice neighborhood, and any remodeling has been done well and will last a long time! By no means I am making fun of your house!
Caliesta,
Try going to your local tax assessor's office. They usually have a "card" for every property that has the information on which the property taxes are based on. It usually has a picture. If the office has kept records for a long enough period, you may find one that will show you what the original structure looked like.
So a little bit of a clue is that the house next to this one was designed and owner by the same architect. I am definitely heading to city hall for the original blue prints- but please look at my neighbors home image as well.
