Is Creeping Charlie in your lawn a good thing or a bad thing?
Is there a sure-fire way to get rid of Creeping Charley?
Hi Karen, The best way to clean up acorns is simply to rake or vacuum them up. Another option is just to leave them on the ground and the insects and squirrels will soon devour them. Acorns make a good addition to the compost pile.
Rake or vacuum up and dispose. My girlfriend just rakes into piles and let's the squirrels take them. Good for a compost pile if you have one. Fun for crafts too.
Hi Karen! Oh I know that can be a nuisance. Here are some ideas for you.

You can rake and then pick up
You can set out large shallow baskets. Take out leaves and trash. Then leave the acorns for the squirrels or dry them for painting and other craft activities. Some farmers would love them for their pigs or other animals. You could also sell them by the pound online, but check for shipping regulations first. My squirrels would honor me by reproducing quickly and prolifically, but I’m not sure my roof can handle that many more squirrels. Best wishes!
