Is it leather? Use leather cleaner and conditioner
Hi Pat,
I'm assuming that the chesterfield you asked about is leather. Baby wipes are listed as one way to clean stains on leather, but you should spot test it first to see if it affects the leather. Here's the entire article where I found this information. This article does state that there are safer methods. Wishing you the best.

You can give it a try on an unnoticeable area of the leather, the leather cleaner and conditioner are optimal. Do you have a stained area or are you just doing a general cleaning?
If your Chesterfield is top grain Analine leather, be very careful, as these are usually treated with vegetable dyes. Use of leather cleaners can damage the dyes.
